OVER 5 GENERATIONS
It all started back in 1826 in the Puglia region in Italy. Then the founder of our company, Pasquale (Lino) Liuzzi came to this country over forty-five years ago. He had a dream to establish his own enterprise, producing premium quality cheeses and fine foods, reminiscent of those started by his great-grandfather in a small town called Noci, located in the province of Bari in Italy.

The founder of our company, 4th generation, Pasquale (Lino) Liuzzi then came to this country over forty-five years ago. He had a dream to establish his own enterprise, producing premium quality cheeses and fine foods, reminiscent of those started by his great-grandfather in a small town called Noci, located in the province of Bari in Italy.
A DREAM BECOMES REALITY Lino, along with his brother Nicola, established Liuzzi Cheese in the U.S. with the family’s 4thgeneration. They believed in their dream and opened up a modest store, Liuzzi Market, in North Haven, CT. The efforts from their families and close friends nurtured their business which has grown over the last 3 decades. We continue to serve the local community with the most outstanding products this side of Italy. Our Artisan cheese is made with the highest quality and standards using only fresh ingredients from local farms.
A LABOR OF LOVE In the last 5 years, as future generations of Liuzzi’s join our family’s thriving business, we have expanded to commercial and various retail outlets across the nation carrying the ethics of our patriarch, Lino. We continue to offer the same quality and product assurances our original loyal customers to this day have come to appreciate and trust. The obvious love and devotion our family members have allows us to devote our lives to our father’s pioneering goals and ideals and transcribe them into our own achievements.
