Mozzarella di Bufala in Italian, is a semi-soft 'Pasta Filata" cheese made fresh locally from 100% Mediterranean water buffalo milk. It has a rich, creamy, milky lactic flavor. Best served at room temperature.
Imagine the taste of soft clouds of heaven... well, that taste will surely resemble the one of Mozzarella di Bufala. It has been observed that cheeses made from buffalo milk are higher in calcium and protein and lower in cholesterol than cow's milk. Simply slice and eat as is, or top on salads. Pair with bread, tomatoes, and basil.
